WISH TREE CHARITY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2018 – ‘A Night at The Oscars’


The Wish Tree Charity 2018 Music Festival is only a few weeks away.  Thank you for buying a ticket and supporting The Wish Tree Charity. Here is some useful information you need to know before coming along on the 23rd June 2018.


GATES OPEN AT 6.45PM  – It's going to be a great night with lots of good music so come early to support and enjoy the first act starting at 7pm. A Free Glass of Prosecco will be served near the entrance using a raffle ticket system for you to collect your glass when you arrive. Please also bring your ticket to gain access and collect your pre-ordered drink on arrival. For those of you eligible for a free bottle of Prosecco, these will be available to collect at the bar – please have you ticket confirmation ready as required.


FINISH TIME – Due to the terms of our licence we have to finish by 12 midnight.  Please leave the school quietly and do not disturb the local residents.


GAZEBO SET UP TIMES   You can come onto the school grounds to put up your gazebo (if you have paid for a pitch) between 10 am – 12 noon on Saturday 23rd June 2018 and please can we ask for you to set down and clear away your gazebo, chairs, tables, rubbish, etc between 10am and 12 noon on Sunday 24th June 2018.   NO CARS on the school field or grounds at any time please unless granted permission from a member of the Committee who will be on site.


PRIZES – There will be a prize for the ‘Best Oscar’ themed Dressed Gazebo and Best Dressed Male and Female judged on the night.


FOOD – There will be a barbecue selling Bacon or Halloumi baps between the hours of 8-10pm approx so we encourage you to bring your own picnics during the course of the evening.


RUBBISH – Each gazebo will be provided with 2 bin bags.  Please put all your rubbish in black bin bag  and separate out your recyclables ie glass/cans into green bin bag. It would really help us if you can take away your own rubbish as we do not have access to any large containers for the events’ rubbish.


BAR – Pre-ordered drinks can be collected from 6.45pm.   Bar opens at 7pm.  CASH BAR ONLY. You can order drinks on line on www.thewishtreecharity.org  if you haven’t already done but Tring ale, Prosecco, red/white/Rose wine, lager and soft drinks available to buy on the night.  Please do not bring in your own alcohol as this is a charity fund raising event – Thank you for your cooperation.


PHOTOGRAPHER  – There will be an opportunity for you to have a professional photograph done as you walk down the Red Carpet or during the course of the evening which can be purchased at a small price following the event. Details of how to access the gallery will be sent to all ticket holders or accessed via a link from our website. All proceeds from orders made to go direct to the Charity.


RAFFLE – Raffle tickets will be on sale all evening.  There are loads of great prizes for all the family.  The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 27th June at 8pm at the Spotted Dog. Please feel free to come along to support.


FIRST AID – Please go to the Bar if you need a First Aider during the evening.


SMOKING – Smoking is permitted outside the marquee.  Please stub out your cigarettes in the buckets provided if you smoke whilst at the event.  Remember we are on a school playing field and dispose of cigarette stubs carefully.
