EXCITING NEWS – NEW LONDON MARATHON RUNNER!

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in obtaining a new runner, Kathryn Coulter, for the rescheduled October 2020 Virgin London Marathon. w is fantastic news……. she is well on her way with her training and achieved her first half marathon this weekend!

Introducing Kathryn……….

I’m lucky enough to be running the London Marathon for The Wish Tree Charity this Year. I’ve lived in Flamstead for the past 7 years with my husband Ali and our lovely family. Moving to a village like Flamstead has been a new experience for me, having been raised in London, but I’ve grown to love village life.

For me, The Wish Tree Charity epitomises what is so special about our village – simply the members of our community caring for each other. The Wish Tree Charity has been there for my family in the past when they needed a helping hand and now I’m privileged to be able to give something back. Running a marathon is way out of my comfort zone, having only ever run a 10k before, so please give me a friendly shove if you see me out in training! Thank you for your support.
