WELCOME TO THE WISH TREE CHARITY
Supporting Flamstead Parish Residents
WHAT WE DO
The Wish Tree Charity is a registered charity started in 2008 with the primary aim to support Flamstead residents facing serious illness, injury, major surgery or bereavement. The Charity supports both individuals and families to try and gain a sense of normality in these difficult circumstances. This can be in the form of practical help/support or through other needs identified by the resident.
The trustees are ultimately responsible for the allocation of funds in accordance with the charity’s constitution. Each case is assessed on its own merits and in complete confidence, and the offer of support is not means tested. Funds are raised via fundraising events, personal donations and sponsored events.

HOW WE CAN HELP
We have helped residents to continue family life as normally as possible when they are facing serious illness, injury and in bereavement. We are able to offer help in the form of domestic help, cleaning, ironing, childcare, dog walking, horse care, gardening, transport to hospital appointments/treatment and in other practical ways.
WHO PROVIDES OUR SERVICES
We endeavour to source and use local services to fulfil the practical help needed, and pay them directly so the resident does not need to worry.
